ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Who is this program for? Those who…

  • Desire to maintain or gain strength during their pregnancy

  • Have experience or enjoy more of a functional fitness approach using dumbbells and resistance training

  • Seek knowledge on how the pelvic floor and deep core are involved in strength training and why it is important to pay attention to this during pregnancy

  • Want to address/prevent common pregnancy pains by building resilience

  • Want to build in labor and birth prep to their workouts

  • Have interest in learning about labor and birth preparation

  • Have time to commit to 4 workouts/week that last around 30-40 minutes.

  • Programmed Workouts

    4 workouts per week from weeks 4-41, designed to progress with you through each trimester. There are 3 strength-based workouts (upper, lower and full body) and 1 mobility/deep core day. Workouts are intended to focus more on resistance training to maintain strength through pregnancy and set yourself up for an easier recovery postpartum.

  • Pelvic Floor and Deep Core Education

    Learn about the foundations of pelvic floor and the deep core. Understand the anatomy and the role these muscles have as it applies to your pregnancy and training regimen, and ultimately labor and birth. You’ll complete the program knowing you have a strong and coordinated pelvic floor and core.

  • Labor and Birth Prep

    Included is a recorded labor and birth prep session with me along with my Labor and Birth Prep e-book. Learn about the stages of labor, positions to open the pelvis with and without an epidural, breath strategies for pushing, perineal massage, and exercises to prep the pelvic floor for birth.

  • Education on Common Pregnancy Issues

    Guidance on how to self-manage common issues ranging from SI joint and pubic symphysis pain to hemorrhoids and incontinence. Dive into the potential causes and treatment recommendations to become your own best advocate.

C-Section Connection

Through this program, you’ll access…

  • Education on early C-section recovery and pelvic floor dysfunctions that are commonly associated with C-sections

  • Core Foundations videos that teach about the deep core, how to recruit it, breathing strategies, posture and assessing for diastasis rectus abdominus

  • 14+ weeks OR 7 levels of workouts: each level contains 3 workouts that include core connection, mobility and strength. You can move levels at your own time based on your own personal progress.

  • Videos on scar and abdominal mobilization, cupping and desensitization.

  • Information on cardio activity post-cesarean

  • List of helpful products to have on hand post-surgery
